How to find Badger Farm Surgery

Badger Farm Surgery is located next to the “Sainsbury’s” superstore at Badger Farm, and shares the same car park. The surgery is a small two-storey, blue-walled and red-brick building in the far corner of the car park, next to the Community Centre. 

By car
Leave the M3, at Junction 11, and follow the B3090. 

By train
The surgery is a five minute taxi-ride, or fifteen minute bus-ride, from Winchester train station.

Badger Farm Surgery is within a maximum 30-minute drive of the following places: Basingstoke, Alton, Petersfield, Portsmouth, Fareham, Southampton, Eastleigh, Romsey, Andover and Winchester.

First appointment

Your first appointment

Your first appointment will last about one hour; this may well go a lot more quickly than it sounds. It is an initial conversation designed to get to know you and talk over your problems. It is an opportunity for you and I to meet and decide whether CBT might be of help to you, and whether you wish to book further appointments. There is no obligation to book further visits at the time of your first appointment, although many people do.

Confidentiality Confidentiality

Your data is confidential and will usually only be seen by me, however in certain circumstances I may be legally required to disclose records. If your therapy is funded by an insurer or other party, then information/reports may be sent to them about your therapy. I may also need to share information with relevant professionals if I have concerns that you or someone else may be at risk or I believe that a crime has been committed.

Further appointments

Further appointments

Once you have decided to see me again for further appointments, the offer of a series of six sessions at times convenient for you will be made. However, this does not mean that you must book all your sessions in advance. For therapy to be effective it is essential to keep all appointments. If you do have to cancel one, please inform me as soon as possible. A charge will be incurred if you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment.
